The van is in need of some repairs, so I will be kicking off my bike tour earlier!
The new rough itinerary is as follows:
- 12/10-12/12: fly to New Zealand (Christchurch)
- 12/13: take train from Christchurch to Picton
- 12/13: boat ride from Picton to Ship Cove (where Captain Cook spent 6 months moored during his expeditions)
- 12/14-12/31: Sounds to Sounds Bike Tour (now with elevation included – https://connect.garmin.com/modern/course/421224807)
- 1/1-1/11: unplanned adventure time
- 1/12: fly back to Ohio
